U.S. military issued products include
a 5 year Federal warranty from time of delivery. protechelmet.com is
transitioning to a non-telephone system guidance (see amazon) based
on response time and industry requirements. During 2021, Covid-19
caused a detrimental impact on both supply chain solutions
disrupting output and inventory capacity which was already strained
due to demand. For our partners and customers who patiently navigate
these challenges we humbly thank you and continue to rely on your
support as we move forward.
If you are a currently active U.S.
military member you have precedence over all civilian and corporate
orders.
The PT A-Bravo models are current
within DLA (Defense Logistics Agency) for a broad spectrum of use
based on the branch you are in within the DoD.
You may have a specific headset which
requires an alternate fit and all PT A-Bravo customers can modify or
have modified their helmet or replaced to accommodate U.S. military
issued headsets.
New models will continue to be
universal modules for in-field equipment used for land, sea, and air
operations. Battery pack and logistic link services will focus on
U.S. made equipment and new anti-transmission capabilities for
sentry and team personnel.
Yes, but as a limited basis to meet
current requirements. Arc Rails were designed for hard hat mining
operations and applied to tactical configuration. Neither system was
meant to be a permanent solution for Picatinny rifle system
crossover and many vendors have designed their own systems. As with
exponential use in plastics as durability develops, metal systems
have taken a backseat for PPD systems. The outdated systems for both
plastic and metal will continue to be applied to commercial markets
as new system developments slowly trickle into commercial use. Arc
rails are a product of the 90's and critical updates have been made
to address new technology required for soldier systems.
Yes. As new modules rollout the
public may or may not be informed of such capability. Historically
PT Helmets has never edified product development at Shot Show, Tech
Crunch, etc, based on FAR requirements as our mission is applicable
to the field soldier, not commercial markets.

NVG Shroud Application
DRILLING THE PT SHELL FOR ANY NVG APPLICATION WILL
NOT VOID WARRANTY
All Bravo's come standard 3 hole
drilled for Shroud mounting. PT A-Bravo®
will allow the following shroud applications PVS 7/14/15
NOTE: SINGLE HOLES FOR PLATE MOUNTS ARE NO LONGER
PRE-DRILLED (DIY)
Shroud Notes
Triangular Shroud Plates
There are 3 drill holes to accommodate
triangular mounts. Holes can be expanded without damaging helmet.
Additional drilling WILL NOT void warranty. Some plates will require shimming. You
can do this by applying sticky back Velcro under the shroud to the helmet,
above the rhino mount; this will angle (cant) the mount forward.
1 Hole PASGT Strap/Mount Plate
To insure a correct fit for the PASGT mount you must
bend the tabs to fit the helmet using a wrench.

The correct angle of the plate will be 20-25 degrees
to coordinate NVG to eyes. Simply align the slot in the plate to the
hole drilled in the helmet and apply screw. Use Loctite Red 271 for secure
fit.
1 Hole MICH Adaptor Mount Plate
 |
There is no need to
bend the tabs on the MICH plate. Simply align plate, mark top of hole
for a snug bolt fit and drill hole. Be sure to use clamp or firmly press bottom of
hooks to lid of helmet before applying screw. Use Loctite Red
271 for secure fit.
